We have discussed at length in class what all the fuss is about on December 25th. Santa is coming and that's a fact! But we are celebrating someone's birthday and we don't want to forget that either. Let's think about what baby Jesus would want as his birthday gift this year. The children of K2 think that love and kindness spread throughout the year would be the best gift of all.

Our principal of the day, Cooper has declared Friday, December 22, 2017 PJ and Stuffy Day. Your child is invited to wear their PJ's to school and bring in a stuffed animal on this day.
Thursday, December 21st is the grade 6 bake sale. Please help support the grade 6 Social Justice initiative!
The students in K2 have been busy making their own gingerbread house in our dramatic play area. On Thursday, December 21st we will be reading the book, "The Gingerbread Man" and decorating our own gingerbread cookies. Please send in a small ziplock bag of nut-free candy for your child to use to decorate their cookie.
Just a reminder that the Kinder Christmas Craft morning is on Monday, December 18th. The students will be singing a few Christmas songs on this day too. We hope that you are able to join us for this festive celebration.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is Christmas Spirit Day at St. James. Dress from head to toe in Christmas attire. Please bring in a donation for our Christmas Hampers/Angel Tree.
ADVENT PROJECT- Christmas Hampers/Angel Tree- On Wednesday December 13th, we will be having a Christmas Spirit Day. We, at St. James school have chosen to support families in a less privileged school in our School Board. We are supporting these families through the gift of food hampers compiled by each class in the school. Cash donations will also be appreciated. All monies raised will be used to buy food vouchers. Students are encouraged to wear their Christmas spirit from head to toe on Dec 13th and bring in a donation to support our Advent initiative. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
